School Governance

Charlotte Community School for Girls is governed by 3 entities: the Board of Directors which is responsible for legal and financial matters; the Board of Teachers which is responsible for pedagogical matters; and the Administration which is responsible for the day-to-day school matters.  We receive tremendous advice from our Board of Advisors.

CCSG Board of Advisors

Having an independent body of community leaders, parents, and other interested community members can be key to building a secure, ongoing program. Each Advisory Board member brings something unique to the program. Some members will take responsibility for specific tasks at the direction of the Board of Directors. Other members will not be able to accept specific responsibilities, but will attend meetings and provide valuable input. Others may not be able to attend many meetings, but have good contacts or can carry out a specific function independently
